The 2023 edition of Vinitaly concluded again this year with record numbers: 93,000 visitors e 4000 exhibitors From more than 30 countries. We had the pleasure of finally being able to meet some of our longstanding customers and meet new importers and enthusiasts from around the world in person.

Special thanks to all those who, every day, strive to enhance the value of native grape varieties And the “good drinking” of our territory. Our core values include. incentivize members to the production of a material of high quality, selected and controlled by our winemaker with great care, at the expense of quantity production of grapes.

Debunking the clichés about young wines remains for us a mission to be carried out every day; just as it is being done, every day more and more, in the wine scene, we leave you in particular the article by Paolo Massobrio published in Repubblica for a very timely rereading on the “easy wines” of our territory.

From this year’s Vinitaly we bring home a great satisfaction: our Rosa Matilde, pure Lambrusco Montericco, vinified in pink, has been selected for two Masterclasses important precisely within this unique event in the world.

Lambrusco Montericco is among the most geolocalized native grape varieties in our territory, precisely because its origin is precisely circumscribed between the hamlets of Broletto and Montericco, in the municipality of Albinea.

Cultivated here since the nineteenth century, it stands out because it is more delicate, both in aroma and palate, and in color, which is less intense, tending toward pinkish. The Lambrusco Montericco grape variety gives wines that are deep ruby red in color, with good acidity, not very full-bodied and alcoholic, not very tannic, fresh and delicate. It gives delicate fruity hints of blackberry and berries, as well as wild flowers, rosehips and violets.
